Can i legally put up a notice stating that someone owes my Business money?

Im in australia and my partner has a small business (one man, himself) and he did work for a srupid woman who still has not paid her bill from 2004 so can i legally put up a notice saying that this person owes money and wont pay because she has 1000 excuses, mainly as a warning to other business%26#039;s and partly to shame the wench into paying? Or is it not legal, i dont care if its not morally right as we are not just losing labour on this job but we paid for the parts as well. Debt collectors say the debt is to small for them to handle and legally we cant go onto the property and claim our parts back, any ideas? Thank you in advance.

No I don%26#039;t think you could do that, it would be called slander. What you do need to do is sue her and take her to court for the money, or at the very least turn it in to a collections agency and they will pursue it for you, and if she doesn%26#039;t pay it will hurt her credit
Reply:I don%26#039;t know if it%26#039;s legal or not. It wouldn%26#039;t be slander, because that%26#039;s a malicious lie, so if it%26#039;s true it%26#039;s not slander. I don%26#039;t know why you couldn%26#039;t, unless it would be considered harrassment.
Reply:make posters, and walk in front of her house every saturday and sunday...or days that you are off........

and randomly infront of the place that she works......

be basic...say.....

%26quot;Ms (INSERT HER FULL NAME) owes my company $ XXXX

and is too cheap to pay for it since 2004.%26quot;

then make copies leter size prints, and place them on all available bulletin boards, and take them into her place of work and leave the lying around.

NEVER ever go on her property...stay on the side walk, or the road...therefore you are not tresspassing.

I had a business, and a company gave me a bad check.... I was in front of their business for 20 minutes when the owner came out and gave me cash............

Does Australia have a Small Claims Court????? You could sue her, after you picket her house and work.
